Instructions & Safety

What is a Wax Melt?

A wax melt is a scented piece of wax, much like what you’d find in a candle jar - but without the wick! To fill your home with fragrance, you simply warm up and melt the wax melt using either an electric burner or a tealight heated burner.

Wax melts are becoming more and more popular and many now favour wax melts over candles as the best way to make your home smell fresh and fragrant.

All of our fragrances are fully compliant with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) and RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) regulations. All our fragrances are cruelty free, suitable for vegans/vegetarians and paraben free

Using a Wax Melt

  1. Place one melt on your wax melt burner (for example, one made from glass or ceramic) and place a lit tealight candle underneath to release the fragrance, filling the room with a beautiful aroma.
  2. Keep using new tealights until you can no longer smell the scent from the wax melts.
  3. Once the wax is spent, wait until it cools and gently apply pressure to one side of the wax until it pops out. Do not use sharp objects to remove the wax as this can damage the burner and possibly cause injury.

Unlike a candle, the wax in a wax melt doesn’t disappear as you use it. Instead, eventually, the wax will lose its scent. When this happens, you will want to remove the wax from the burner to change it over to a fresh new wax melt.

Safety First

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not move whilst wax is molten.
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.
  • Place wax burner on a stable, heatproof surface.
  • Keep out of draughts
  • Do not move while lit

Although some items may look as if they are edible - they are not!
